How this site came to be

By Aaron S. Robertson, Publisher

Again, welcome to FacebookHelpers.com! We're so excited about the potential of this site and to have you join us on the journey!

A somewhat funny story on how I ended up launching this site. Just a few nights ago, I was watching The Social Network (for like the millionth time since its release), the 2010 film featuring actor Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Among a host of other great talent, the movie also stars Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, Facebook's first president; and Andrew Garfield as Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. You may also know Garfield by his work in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Anyways, The Social Network portrays the very early days of Facebook and how it went from the campus of Harvard University to worldwide smash hit.

Well, my mind started drifting a little bit during the movie, and I began to wonder what domain names (Web site addresses) were still available that started with face. I paused the movie, went over to my computer in another room, and began checking the availability of every combination I could think of. After about 20 minutes or so of doing that and coming up largely empty-handed (just about every decent-sounding combination you can think of that starts with face is already taken, I found out), I began searching for combinations that started with facebook. And after another 20 minutes or so, I discovered that FacebookHelpers.com and FacebookConsultants.com were both available, which sort of surprised me. I ended up buying both, and FacebookConsultants.com forwards to this site.

I have a strong background in online marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and freelance writing and journalism. I've been on Facebook since 2005, and since that time, I've created many Facebook pages and groups for various business and community purposes and causes. I've learned a lot, and I continue to learn a lot through research and simply experimenting with ideas. I want to share that knowledge and those insights with you, and it's that passion for helping others find success that fuels this site.

More to come...

All the Best,

Aaron
